An Act to provide for setting out the practical regime of right to information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities, in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority, the constitution of a Central Information Commission and State Information Commissions and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. For more info : http://www.kerala.gov.in/reportsdouments/ria.htm Procedure for Seeking Information The request for obtaining information under section(1) od the section(6) of the act shall be made to the Public Information Officer or through the Assistant Public Information office the case may be accompanied by an application fee of Rs.10/0 (Rupees ten only) The application fee shall be by cash remittance in favour of The Principal, LBS College of Engineering, Kasaragod or by Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque/Pay order in favour of Director, LBS Centre for Science & Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, payable at Kasragod. |
