Mechanical Workshop

Students get first hand experience in modern welding techniques, Foundry, Sheet metal works, Forging and other related work.

Machine Shop

This lab is the backbone of Mechanical Engineering Department, which includes, various machines like Lathes, Shapers, Pantograph, Planing Machines etc

Fluid Mechanics lab

This lab includes pipe friction apparatus, Reynolds Apparatus, Jet on Vane Apparatus, Rotameter, Orifice meter etc.

Fluid Machinery Lab

The various equipments Turbines (Kaplan, Francis, Pelton Wheel) and assorted Pumps (Reciprocating, Centrifugal, Gear).

Strength of Materials Lab

This lab is equipped with Universal Testing Machine, Torsion testing machine and Hardness Testing machine.

Thermal Engineeering Lab

The core lab of Mechanical Engineering includes air compressors, single cylinder diesel engine test rigs and Ambassador engine to give in-depth knowledge in their working and application.

Instrumentation Lab

The lab gives practical exposure to LVDTs, LDRs, Planimeter, Vapour Refrigation test rigs etc.
 

HMT Lab

The equipments include Viscometer, Bomb and Gas Calorimeter, Vapour Refrigeration test rigs etc.

CAD/CAM Lab

This lab incorporates the latest CAD software packages into the curriculum of the students.They are exposed to the inricacies of CAD engineering.
